The Home Office’s #Knifefree campaign seeks to steer people away from knife crime by making them aware of the risks and highlighting positive alternatives to carrying a knife.

To support teachers and adults who work with children (for example, youth club leaders), to talk about the dangers of knife crime, the Home Office has developed some lesson plans here:

Developed with the PSHE Association, there are two lesson plans – one for key stage 3 (for children aged 11 -14) and one for key stage 4 (for children aged 14 – 16) – alongside guidance to help teachers plan the lessons.
